|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Scouting in Keswick has continued to<br>flourish this year, (22/23). We have had<br>such a growth in our young people<br>numbers that we have even divided our<br>Scouts into two troops, meeting every other<br>week to enable more people to benefit from<br>the varied program that Scouting offers.<br>We have been able to provide more<br>outdoor opportunities, including kayaking<br>and camping and following a grant have<br>even planted young sapling trees to<br>encourage biodiversity. We have had an<br>active fundraising campaign withing our<br>local community, by participating in<br>Christmas markets and other events. In<br>keeping with the Scout objectives we<br>supported events such as Remembrance<br>Day services on November 11thand HM the<br>Queens Remembrance service in<br>conjunction with local community<br>organisations within and around our local<br>area.|
