The trustees who are also directors of the charity for ihe purposes of the Companies Act 2006, pres¢nt therr report with
the financial staternenis of the charity for the year ended 31 January 2021. The mjstees have adopted the provisions of
Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Staiemeni of Recommended Pracii¢e applicable to charities preparing their
accounts in ac£ordallce with th¢ Financial Reporting Sthndard applithle in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)
{¢ffe¢iive l January 2019).
OBJECTIVES AP4D ACTIVITIES
Objtctives and aim5
The charl￿S principal objects and aciivities continue to be operated at Hooton Park for the following purposes..
(a) Static exhibiiion of historic vehicles and hisioric aircraft.
(b) To provtde restoration, repair and maintenance facilities for historic vehicles and hisioric aircraft and
(c) To undertake a variety of indooT and ouidoor activities organrsed by the Trust or by third partie5. Activities include
trade exhibitions. specialisi public exhibiiions and displays appropriate to Hijoton Park.
Significant activitit5
The statement of financial activilies for rhe year is set out on page 3 of the financial statements.
Over the past year the Trust has coniinued to generate funds wherever possible. This has assisced ITh ihe g¢neral everyday
njnning of ihe Trust.
Griffin Tru51 have use of buildin8& known as ih¢ Moior Transport sheds. which th¢y have renovated. li is hoped thai
further renovation will render them a suitable venue for fundraising events. At the moment no premises are available io
hold events.
The Trusr coniinue5 to mn an archive section to house iTrl%toric records and matrrial donated io the GritTin Trusr. These
are used to funh¢r the ini¢rest of the public and for educaiional Purposes. In ihe Ènieresis of security and public access a
significant ponion of the paper archive has been lodged with Chester Re¢ord and Archive Office.
R¢l4tion5hip with other organisations
The TTU5t continues to have a close working relationship with the Hooion Park Trust, which owns Hoolon Park. The
Tn￿1 made no payment5 to the Hooton Park TrusL for events. in 2021 (2020 - Nil).
