in accordance with the Statement of Recommendcd Prnctice - Accounting and reporting by the Charities and
complies with applicable law.
Since our last AGM the Society has continued to make steady pmgress by the gra￿ of th¢ Ahnighty A]h
Onc¢ again it is our pleasure and honour to report to all th¢ members that our society is in excellfflt shape. Most
imPKJrtant of all our Society has been immeasurably helped and guided by the Grdce and illd￿d m¢rcy of the
Almighty Allah and without his favour and his wisty man is incapable of achieving anything.

The charity is constituted und¢r a 1992 CODStitutiin and r¢gisteTed with The Charity Comrnissioncrs lln
charity number 702789. The constitution has been amended in subsquent years. the latcst amendment being
this year 2010 approved at the SGM. The TnL8ts¢s are elected at the Amiual General Me¢tin&

The object of the oharty is to advance the Islamic Religion, including the education of Muslim ¢hi]dren, to
telieve Muslims in condition of nee¢ hardship or distress and to promote good race relations between ￿80￿S
of difftrent racial groups genernlty and particularty between racial groups prof¢ssing the Muslim faith and all
other inI￿ltants ofth¢ Daubhill and ivs Deighbouring oreas. There have be¢n no changes in the objectiv¢s sinc¢
the last aDnual report.
Prin¢lple polfjdes to achleve objectlves
To establish a Masjid forprayer4 Madrassah (school) toprovide a safe environment forthe children to maximise
th¢ir Islamic education and other ancillary buildings including acommunity centre and to prnvid¢ other s¢rvj¢es
to the community ID time of n¢ed like funeral servi¢e4 etc.
Aclivitles and Atbkvements
The Charity is ontirely run by volunteers. Members nominats their volunteer their services to tak¢ up offKe as
Executive Committee methbers and Trustees and are duly ¢le¢ted at th¢ AGM to Serve the one-year period The
Executive Committe¢ then elect the Office Bearers namely the Secretary, Vice Secretary. President Vice
Prcsident. Tr¢asurer and Financial Sec• who may serve in office for a maxtmum p¢Tiod oftwo years ifthey
arr re-electsd at th¢ AGM.
This is intended to provid¢ details of some achievemfflts over the past twelve thonth&
R8sential remedial works to the Masjid and Madrassah building including Cyclical maintenanc
El￿til¢al Inspection in the Masjid has Iwi carried out ￿$0.
Fire Alami Testing has been reviewed and carried out by Teachers & Stud¢nts
Maintenance and S¢rvice Contracts has also been Tenewed for the Lift, H¢atin&
As well as the Fire Alarni and Intruder Alarni.
General repairs also caTried out in both buildings"
Olive Garden Nursery. as well &8 the general maintenance for the building.
Olive Garden Nursery h&5 install¢d Solar Power Panc]s, so it gen¢rdtes El¢ctricity for future Usage.
Currently our intske of Students in Masjid & MadTassa is approx 390.
Graduation took place wh¢re l Boys & 2 Girls completed the memorisation of th¢ Holy Qu'rdn.
Islamic Thoelogy also took place where 15 Girls Grnduate
Masjid & Madr¢ssa is nJnniDg smoothly and managed w¢ll withjn.

The Nursery had an OFSTED inspection and We are pl¢as¢d to say it has been wted OLrrsTANDllqG once
again: this being their 3rd consecutive time 2013, 2018 & 2023. Keep up th¢ good Work.Alhumdulillah.
The Olive Garden Nursery is operating at fiill capacity as a fidl day Nursery. in which th¢ d¢mand and waiting
list is still growing.
Parents reviews has been exceptional also. Well done to the Management and staff within.
FinaIty, and most importantJy Masjid Extension pIans has be￿ drawn after & long Wait and patience w¢ are
pleased to say it has now been submitted to Bolton Council. (awaiting approval IA).

Charity Assets
The fixed asset held by the society incJude8 the propty for its thain use situated at 2 - 14 Randal Street, Bolton,
the building at l Rftndal Street and the Car Park on Randal Street which Was built in 1998.
The principal property at 2-14 Rand81 Street Comprises of the Masjid and facAlities for th¢ Islamic education of
the children and was built in 1992.
The building at l Randal Street ac¢ommodatss the Girls madrass￿ State Trgistered Islamic Nurw now re
llam￿ as Olive Garden Nursery and space for coJnmUnity-bas￿ learning progrnDmes.
Th¢ value included in th¢ Ba1￿Ce Sheet of the Masjid building and the car park comprises of the cost of the
land plus the butlding costs and improvements. Th¢ value of the Community Centre and Girls Madrassah
comprises of the cost of the land plus all the building costs as at th¢ Balance Sheet date.
Risk Management
The current acLount funds are held With a leading baDk to minimise disniption to activities and ryluce risk.
All investment decisions are made to achRev¢ a reasonable rekn from acceptable sources according to Islamic
Jurisprudellce whilst minimising thc risk.
Reserve Policy and Future Plan8
At the year end the society held enough funas to pay for its expenses for the year.
Now that the societyhas paid offall its loan4 the soci&y has started building its r¢s¢rves in orderto have en(xtgh
fi￿dS for the third and fina] stage of the new development pmject which is the expansion of the current Masjid
building. Thc expansion of the Masjid building cannot ¢ommeDce utriil there are cnough funds in the bank
account to finance at le&st 65Yu of the Proje￿ cost.

each financial year that gives a true and fair view of the charity'$ financial activities during the year and of its

Respeetive responsibilities of the trustees And examiner
The ch￿l￿S trustees are responsible for the preparation of th¢ accounts. The ch￿]￿S trustees consider that an
audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of the Chariti¢s Act 1993 (the 1993 Act)} and that
iDdependent examination is needed.

to folk>w the prcwlures laid down in the General Direction given by the Charity Commission (under

Basis of independent examiner's report
My examination was CWTi¢d out in accordanc¢ with th¢ G¢nern] Directions given by the Charity Commissioners.
An examination includes review of the accounting records kept by th¢ eharity and a ¢omparison ofthe accounts
presented with those records. It also includes ￿nSIderatIon of any unusual items or disclosures in the acrJounts
and seek explanations from you as trustees conrarning any such matt¢rs. The procedures undertaken do not
providc ajj the evidenc¢ that would be required in an audiL and consequently I do not express an audit opinion
on the view given by the accounts.
