**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BY ORGANISING AND PROVIDING PUBLIC LECTURES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF GRANGE OVER SANDS AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

**Activities:** The Lecture Society provides a series of ten lectures from October through to March. The lectures have a wide variety of content and style. They provide interest and education to the biggest cross section possible in the Cumbria Lancashire area.
