Chase Baptist Church Trustees Report 2024-2025
OVERVIEW
1 Chase Baptist Church and attendance has kept about the same maybe a small increase . We remain optimistic for the future of the Church. Good controls are keeping the Church on a good financial footing. The unpaid leadership of six people includes 2 Deacons and 2 Trustees, 2 of the Leaders are Trustees. The 3 Trustees have been recently D.B.S. checked and 1 Deacon looks after the process.
2 Food Bank
We continue the support the local food bank with donations from Church members.
3 Overseas Outreach
3.1 Outreach Missions -GENERAL
The Missionary arm of our Church gave a total of £22,491 ( see details below ) to the two Christian organisations we support – indigenous work in both Tema, Ghana and NATIVE in India (Andre Pradesh). Part of the funding is for schools in both countries, we have helped to establish and continue to support.
3.2 Outreach Missions – INDIA - £ 16,553 (2024-2025) The school is in a very poor village , China Muthevi, Andre Pradesh. It is the only school in the village and is open to all children up to the age of 11 years old with about 85 attending. This school is funded by Outreach Missions and a Church in Italy , we help and support by paying teachers salaries , school uniform and materials. Outreach Missions also supports Indian widows in a number of villages in Andre Pradesh. They receive little help from local government , most are illiterate , so are given a basic education and training in a local trade.
3.3 Outreach Missions - GHANA - £ 5,938 (2024-2025)
The Fountainhead School ( now recognised as a University ) is located in Tema. The school is open to all up to the age of 14 and currently has more than 1600 pupils , the education is a major benefit to the local population. With students now graduating , They also train nurses there. Outreach Missions also supports 3 orphanages and work with the elderly.
4.0 Finance 2024/ 2025
4.1 General – Firm budget controls continue and the Church is run by unpaid volunteer staff, the cash balance remains healthy , our focus is to serve the community through regular times of prayer and practical help.
4.2 Reserves – At the end of the 2024/2025 financial year financial year there is £ 36,746.28 The reserve is held for : a) Maintainenance of the Church building e.g. the Church roof is 60 years old and may soon require repair , in the not too distant future .
