Activities

During the financial year items bought for the benefit of patients included replacement syringe drivers; a suction pump; a mechanical hoist; and a special mattress. Assistance towards the cost of palliative care training and related conferances was agreed for 9 staff members of the establishments supported.

Objects: To Relieve Persons In Ruthin And Area Suffering From Cancer And Other Serious Illnesses By Supporting Nurses Working In The Area Particularly By The Provision Of Equipment And Facilities For The Use Of Such Patients In Their Homes; And Supporting Local Institutions Which Provide Care For Persons From Ruthin And Area Such As, But Not Exclusively, The North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre And Hospices Serving The Area.
