Another generous grant of £47,899 wa8 attaln8d vla Chlldren In Need whlch was U8ed iipgrade facllltles on the flrst floor to make It a fully functloning part of the UKMKA Centre, thos Includèd; A fully functlonlng kltchen and bathroom housing a mother baby area. > An educatlon hub with facilltles for Chlldren and adults allke which will enable access to learning through high quality technology. Wo also ran a project on the first floor creatlng a dedicated praying aroa and an | charity management oiTice. | Thiswas subsidised with donations from th8 community which allowed for l enhancements and extras for the flr8t floor project. All the above forms part of our long terni plan towards the development of the centre. The projects completed are still very new and wg are always looking into ways that these areas can be further utilised to its potential to meet the needs of the charity and the wider community. Gift aid funds amounting to£18,678 received, which were predominantty for the relief of our borrowlng for the purchase of th8 UKMKA centre.
