Chief Executive's Introdurtion
It's good to see North Lincolnshire Mind's services develop to rn￿t the increasing level of demand for
support in our area. We live in very stressful times and this has certainly contributed to increasing needs
for mentsl health support. It is very encouraging to see the effective collaborative working btheen
partner agencies working together to ensure that people in North Lincolnshire receive high quality mental
health support. It is also becoming increasingly important to address the wider determinants of poor
mental health including a range of social fattors such as poverty and problems with housing. As always
I am proud to lead such a dedicated team of staff and volunteers and I really appreciate all their hard
work over the last 12 months.

was a surplus of £22,320 (2023 deficit £39,561).
Reserves Policy
Our central funding sources are the Clinical Commissioning Group for NHS North Lincolnshire however
we also work hard to supplement our core funding.
Our reserves policy is written in the light of the Charity Commissioner's Guidan￿ "Charities Reserves,
(January 2016). Our aim is to keep unrestritted reserves equivalent to 9 months average expenditure
and to enable us to cover staff redundancy payments should the need arise. Budgeted unrestritted
expenditure for core services for 2024/2025, is £127,898 and redundancy provision is £47,432 at 31
March 2024, therefore the target is £143,355. The reserves are needed to meet the working capital

continue. This policy is reviewed annually by trustees.
