**Objects:** TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS AMONGST THE INHABITANTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND TO FACILITIATE THE SAME, ESTABLISH AND ARTISTS RESOURCE CENTRE FOR THE COMMUNITY AND TO PROVIDE WORKSHOPS, STUDIO, EDUCATIONAL, PERFORMANCE AND EXHIBITION FACILITIES AND RESOURCES AS A PUBLIC SERVICE.

**Activities:** To foster and promote the maintenance, improvement and development of knowledge understanding and appreciation of the arts amongst the inhabitants of the North East of England and to facilitate the same, establish and artists resource centre for the community and to provide workshops, studio, educational, performance and exhibition facilities and resources as a public service.
