USE OF THE ABBEY AS A SITE OF CHRISTIAN HERITAGE FOR BOTH LAY VISITORS AND PILGRIMS. 3. THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPLORATION OF THE SITE THROUGH RESPONSIBLE BODIES.
