Matters Arising from previous meeting

Actions
Richard Thompson suggested that next year we
have a structured membership fees system to
include Eurocup.
The committee discussed this at their next
committee meeting and decided. Due to
membership fees payable in September and
Euro cup not while March the following year
we are unable to say which players will be
available to go to the Euro cup. No further
actions required.

Chairperson Kev Hayes read through the report.

Chairperson's/Secretary Report

Season 2025/26 is well under way, this season we entered three teams in the National League and one team in the Women’s League.

Premier Division team have got off to a good start going undefeated 8 from 8.

Division 1 team losing 1 game going 5 from 6. Division 2 team losing 3 games going 3 from 6. Women’s Division 3 team undefeated going 5 from 5.

We have also entered in the Euro Cup again this season, we have been placed in Euro league 2 in Switzerland. The Euro Cup will take place in March 2026.

Game days are running smoothly this season thanks to:

Live streaming with the purchase of a new camera and Wifi system, due to Alison Wilson, Richard Sargent and Richard Thompson.

The Tuck Shop is going strong again, everyone seems to be enjoying this and it’s making money for the club due to Jan Kerkhoff, Wendy Marshall and Karen Thompson.

Thank you to those who get there early to set up and clear up after games, Jackie Guest and Steve Ryan. It would be nice if others helped too.

Our stats for Premier League games are running well due to Jared Ryan. A special mention to Jan Timms and the table officials, we would not be able to play without these people.

Social media is up and running this season due to Maddie Thompson. A big thank you to all the people who make game days possible, especially all the people listed above. Our club could not run without you.

A massive thank you to the committee for all you do behind the scenes, there’s always something to do or sort out.

Funding for our club is becoming very hard to keep going, so if anyone has any ideas have a chat with any of the committee.

Good luck to all our teams for the rest of the season.

Street Collections helped to pay for Eurocup, street collection days still remain a good amount of income so thank you to Steve Owen, Steve Ryan and his team of Collectors out on the streets or in shopping centres, without the commitment of this group of people the club would have struggled and has enabled the club to stay afloat once again.
