Objectlves and actlvltles
The objett of the charity is to advance the Chrlstian religion prlmarily but not exclusively amongst
persons of the Chinese race In Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding areas.
In furtheran￿ of these aims, but not further or otherwise, the Church shall have the following
powers:.
to preach the Blblical gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ prlmarlly but not excluslvely amongst
persons of the Chinese race In Newcastle Upon Tyne and the surrounding areas.
to develop In the Church a programme of church Ilfe, Including facilities for worship,
fellowship, training and service in both Chinese and English languages which will meet the
spiritual need of local Chinese Christians and provide for Chinese Christians from overseas (of
whatever denomination) the opportunities for worshlp, fellowship, and pastoral care In a
Chlnese context whlch they require while in the area
to cooperate appropriately wlth Chinese churches and societies who share our aims and
evangelical faith
Achlevements and performance
The up-to-date church registered members remaln at 78. However the attends of the week in week
out Sunday worships show sign of increasing due to the returns of some old members along with
more local l overseas newcomers.
This year, we thank God that we have managed to continuously hold weekly morning-prayer meetings
In the church for the congregation to build upon and supplement their faith daily. More varieties of
gatherings, such as: Anniversary celebration meal, the Christmas celebration gathering and meal,
Sunday Refreshments, have been resumed etc. More of our younger members are stepping up and
getting involved to serve the congregation throughout different services and events.
Also thank to God that we have been incredibly blessed financiallyi through the outpouring of love
from various church friends and families, we have increases in the donation amount and the number
of member who participate in the gift aid offerings in the support and maintenance works as they
recogni* as one of the needs within the church and the kingdom of God.

In addltlon, few update of events: Firstly, the ongoing lawsuit dispute with Findley's had finally come
to an end, where the church has already stsrted receivlng compensation. Secondly, church has
eventually managed to open 2 bank accounts with Lloyd's and HSBC to protect church's fund, and the
reserve fund policy we could maintsin over one month's overhead. Thankfully there are no serious
incidents tr) report to the Commisslon. All Trustees administer the Charity on an entirely voluntary
basis, thus no benefit of any klnd is rendered to any of them whatsoever.
Reserve Policy
General purpose fund the poliq of the charlty is to keep a minlmum fund level equlvalent to 6
months overhead costs for any unexpected events. The board has also agreed to transfer part of the
fund to the New Church Facilities Fund if the target amount cannot be achleved by the time of
buildlng completion. the exatt amount Is to be declded by the board.
Publlc Beneflt ststement
The trustees have had regard to the Charltles Commlsslon's guidance on thelr legal duty on public
benefit, and are satlsfied that the charity dellvers public beneflt, and due regard Is pald to the
guidance on publlc benefit when deciding on what new projects the charlty should undertake
Plans for future perlods
We wlll carry on provldlng tralnlng and development programs focuslng on bullding up younger
generation regard of thelr Sunday Service and biblical tralnlng.
Thank the Lord more newly graduates wlthin the church manage to stay locally while carry on thelr
professlon pursuits. Therefore, a probable increase financlally In the number of members particlpatlng
In the Glft Ald scheme Is expected. For that reason the church wlll be looklng to set up another bank
account for protecting the church fund. Although the Findley's lawsuit came to an end but the building
stlll need to be Innovated and refurbished In a long run that the church will require to look into some
exterlor rna1ntenan￿ In foreseeable future.
Due to the Increase In demand of servlces, especially recent Chrlstmas celebration seNlce and meal
had accommodated 140 plus guests, therefore we are looking to arranging and resumlng more
gatherlngs wlth meals, and hen￿ we wlll also be Inviting experienced speakers from the local area to
preach and provlde series of trainings and development programs, bibllcal teachlngs, and prayer
meetlngs. In addition, the church Is planning on the contlnuation of building up the forthcomlng
generations by running summer blble classes or camps possibly during the summer term. We are
looking forward to providing various services and supports for the Christianity falth to grow and be
enhanced in the future. Thls will undoubtedly Incur much more speaker honorariums and other
seNices rendered costs for the necessary mlnlstries; however, we believe our Lord God will provlde
for us.
Under the pastoral care of God, the trustees of the church are guided in many ways to engage in
advancing and maintaining church life for the members and friends. Most Importantly, as a church we
will constsntly rely on God's gra￿ and provision as our aim remains drawing people to the SeN1￿ and
ministry of the Kingdom of God, which enhantr and benefit the community sharing the same faith on
every possible occasion according to the Biblical views and Christianity Doctrinal teachings.
