**Objects:** 1) PROVIDING BIBLES FOR POOR PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF ULVERSTON. 2) IF AND INSOFAR AS THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IS NOT REQUIRED FOR APPLICATON AFORESAID THEN THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE SAME FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN THE AREA OF THE SAID ANCIENT PARISH.

**Activities:** The purpose of the bequest is to provide Bibles, other Christian books and materials and financial support in the advancement of the Christian religion in the area of Cumbria that corresponds with the parish of Ulverston in 1718, especially to those of limited means.
