The Charity's objectives are as outlined in the Governing Instrument dated 11 December 1987. The
strategic policy of the Charity is to work within the parameters of the Governing Instrument whilst
maintalning an inflatlon proofed fund to preserve its value and potential earning power in real ternis
year on year.
The Charity's Investment Portfollo is currently managed by Charles Stanley and the Investment and
Current Accounts are at Lloyd5 8ank.

The Investment funds have been under the management of Charles Stanley from 30 January 2023.
Since this time the fund value has increased by £13,600 and is set up to provide an income of 3%
annually.
A donatlon of £14.946 was received by the Charlty from the organisation 'Friends of Pennard Llbrar¢.
This donatlon Is to be used to support grants appllcations In allgnment with the grant disperslon
conditions stipulated in the Charitvs Governing Instrument.
Those organSsations and indlvlduals to whom funds have been dispersed and the amounts awarded
are listed In Page 6 of the accounts.
The accounts will be presented to the Trustees for approval at the 17th April 2024 meeting. The
Principal Officers currently acting on behalf of the Charity are: .

I report on the Accounts prepared for the Period Ended 31, March 2024 incorporating the Receipts
and Payment5 Account on Page 4; the Statement of Assets and Llabilities on Page 5; and the
Schedule of Awards on Page 6.

As the Trustees you consider that the Charity is not required by law nor its governing body to have
an audlt. It is therefore my responsibility to conduct an Independent examination of the accounts in
accordance with directions given by the Companies Act 2006 (°the 2006 Act'l.
Basls of Independent Examlners Report
My examination included a revlew of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison
thereof w5th the accounts prepared from them. It also Included consideratlon of any unusual items
or dlsclosures in the accounts seekln8 explanatlons from the Trustees. The procedures undertaken
do not provide all the evidence required in an audit and, consequently, I do not express an audit
opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent Examlner s Statement
During the examination no matter came to my attentlon which:_
caused me to belleve In any materlal aspect that the accountlng records kept and the
accounts prepared there from did not comply with the requirements of the Charities Acts
nor
Sn my opinion, required me to draw attention to any item to enable a proper understanding
of the accounts to be reached.
