Activities
The Charity activities were limited during this accounting period due to the youth club being closed. In September 2008 a new Committee was formed and young people from the village submitted a Youth Capital Fund application to Durham County Council to refurbish the old Methodist Church Hall as a youth club. This work was completed in early 2009 and the youth club re-opened in April 2009.
Objects: To Help Young People Without Distinction Of Race Or Sex Or Of Political, Religious, Or Other Belief Or Opinion, Especially But Not Exclusively Through Leisure-Time Activities So To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Spiritual Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society And That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved.
