Ladybarn Community Association is a small independent registered charity, number 700038, that worked across Withington, Fallowfield and Rusholme, deprived areas of Manchester. The main aims of the organisation were: 1) The advancement of education, 2) The relief of hardship, and 3) The provision of social and recreational facilities for the local community.
Objects: (A) To Provide The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Ladybarn Resdient In The Area Bounded By Wilmslow Road To Moseley Road To Kingsway To Mauldeth Road, Parrswood Road To Parsonage Road Without Distinction Of Gender, Race Or Of Politcal, Religious, Sexual Orientation Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Orgaisations And Inhabitants Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. (B) To Establish Or To Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Manager Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Association And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
