The Haughton Gardiner Trust is in the process of being transferred to the York Children and Young Person's Fund which is the responsibility of the Two Ridings Community Foundation
Objects: (1)for The Benefit Of Young People Under 25 Who Are Resident In The City Of York Who, In The Opinion Of The Trustees, Are In Need Of Financial Assistance In One Or More Of The Following Ways: (a) The Provision Of Financial Assistance Towards Books, Musical Instruments, Sports Equipment Or Any Other Educational Equipment Not Provided By The Local Education Authority. (b) The Provision Of Financial Assistance For School Trips. (c) The Provision Of Any Other Financial Assistance For Educational Purposes As The Trustees Feel Appropriate. (2) For The Benefit Of Young People By Means Of Financial Assistance To Educational Establishments Within The City Of York Boundary As IT Should Exist At Any Time For Any Purpose Defined Bt The Trustees.
