1) To permit the use of land and buildings belonging to the Trustees for the purpose of a Voluntary Controlled School called "Horizon Community College". 2) To provide financial assistance to the school for the purposes not normally provided by the LEA.3) To provide financial assistance to promote the education, social and physical training of pupils and former pupils.
Objects: (1) Providing Or Assisting In Providing At The School Such Special Benefits Of Any Kind Not Normally Provided By The Local Education Authority As May Be Agreed Between The Trustees And The Governors Of The School; (2) Promoting The Education (Including Social And Physical Training) Of Persons Who Are Attending Or Have Attended For Not Less Than Two Years At Any Time Either The School Or Another School In The Area Of The Parishes Of Ackworth, Havercroft With Cold Hiendley, Hemsworth, Hessle And Hill Top, Huntwick With Foulby, North Elmsall, Notton, Ryhill, South Elmsall, South Hiendley, South Kirby, West Hardwick And Wooley In The County Of West Yorkshire And The Parishes Of Brierley And Shafton, The Area Of The Former Parish Of Dodsworth And The Area Of The Former Borough Of Barnsley, In The County Of South Yorkshire.
