The Trust Deed empowered the Trustees lo deal with the income of the Foundation as follows".-
1 Maintainino the properties of Ihe Foundation.
2 The proper costs of admlnislering and managing the Charity.
3 Assisting the school govemors lo discharge their obligations under the Education Acts.
4 Assisting the govemors of any other voluntary aided school in the locality and in which religious instruction in
accordance with the doctrin8s of the church of England Is given.
5 Prowding special benefits lo the schods and any other schools in the locality.
6 Promoting the educab.on (including education in accordance with the doctrines of th8 Church of England and
soaal and physical training) of pupils and fomier pupils of the schoo15 under the age of 25, and other similar
KErsons in the locality.

Achlevements and perfornianc•
In accordance with the requirements of the Trust deed, and in compliance with thg duty in section 17 of the
Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to public benefit, this income has conlinu&J to be used to-
Support the activities of The Adridge Cooper and Jordan Endowed School and other schools in the area by
providing funding for salaries, equipment, maintenance and other running costs.
Provide school and church workers lo support and develop religious education for the youih of the area.

area.

the extent of the work required is continuing at a high level. Where possible these eosts are mat out of Incoma
arising, but as the work is ongoing a sum of money has been set aside as a cushion towards these costs.

managers. The policy adoplett is to ulilise low risk and fixeQ Inte￿St investments lexduding tobacco and other

whilst ensuring that the investment base of the portfolio is not eroded by inffalion. The income largel has been

Plans for future perlod5
As prgviously reported, the Trustees have committed lo prowcling at least 10% towarQs Pha$es of the necessary
building works at the school and are endeavouring to ensure income Is sufficient lo m88t this eommitment. Since
this limits the funds available for other expenditure no other major changes to the acliviliès of the charity are
plann￿ for the foreseeable future.
The investment managors have forecast overall investment income of some £150,000 for the ensuing year. In
sddition the Trustees expect lo continue receI￿1ng a gross rental income of some £30,000.
The Truste85 wll On￿ again make any necessary adjustrnents to Ihoir expenditure proposals lo ensure that they
do not exceed available resources.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Foundatson for the year ended 31st De￿mber
2025, which are set out on pages 6 to 10.

The charws trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an
audit is not required for this year under seth'on 144 of the Charities Act 2011 1.the Charits'es Acf'l and that an
independent examination is needed.

and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audi( and consequentty no opinion 1$ gwen as to whether the
accounts present a 'true and fairf view and the report is limited lo those matters set out in the ststement below.

INCOME

EXPENDITURE
Expenditure is recognised on an 8ccrual basis as a liability is incurred. Expendilurg includes VAT which
cannot be recovered, and Is as part of the expenditure to which il relates..

Somg of the Prope￿"83 were a￿uIred as long 8go as the 171X)s and so il is not possible to show cost and
revaluation details as required by FRS1￿. As there Is no intention lo sell any of the properties. the
Trustees are of the opinion that no ￿nefit would be gained by attgmpling to create a Revaluab'on Reserve.
The foundatlon also owns land in the Parish of AIOri(ige used by the Ltsc￿ Educats"otb Authority for the
pro￿ls1On of schools. No value has ever be￿ attritkrted to Ihls land which was originally vested in the
Trustees on 29th March 1974 under paragraph 6 of the first schedule to the Education Act 1946.

The sehool has also reouestgd finaneial assistance in 2026 in respect necessary health and safety matters
in the sum of £27,400, as well as other immwjiale general maintenance work on the heab.ng system and
playground al an approximate cost of £20.000.
