The Trustees have power to apply the net income for educational benefits in the City of Lincoln, parishes of Branston & Mere for persons under the age of 25 years.The Trustees also have power to pay grants to qualifying persons of pensionable age in the hamlets of Mere and East Mere and also in the parishes of Branston and Mere and parishes adjacent thereto.
Objects: 20. Application Of Income. Subject To Payment Of The Expenses Aforesaid The Trustees Shall Apply The Income Of The Charity As Follows:- (1) As To One Third Thereof For The Payment Of Pensioner Benefits In The Manner Provided By Clauses 21 To 23 Inclusive Of This Scheme.(2) As To Two Thirds Thereof For The Payment Of Educational Benefits In The Manner Prescribed By Clauses 24 And 25 Of This Scheme.(3) Any Surplus Income Arising Either From The Payment Of Pensions Or The Payment Of Educational Benefits For Relief In Need In The Manner Prescribed By Clause 26 Of This Scheme.
