Providing for the Schools of the Foundation namely, Vvolverley Sebrighl Primary Aeadgmy Ifomedy Wolverley
Sebrighl VA Prlmary School) which has alded slalus and Cookley Sebright Prlmary School Ilormedy Cookley
Sebrighl Endowed First School) which has controlled slalus. in accordance with Clausès 1111), 12 14 of the
Scheme of 12 February 1973, with power to provide benefits as specified in Clausè 16.
Applying the residue of nel yearly income for the purposes specified In Clause 19 of the Scheme dated the 12
February 1973 as amended by the Scheme dated 23 December 1980. pl8feren￿ being given lo applications
from Ihe An¢lonl Parish of Wolverley.
The Foundation's area of benefit comprises the Ancient Parish of Wolverley and the Prtvlleged Worceslorshire Area,
Ihe boundaries of both of which are sel out on maps approvèd by the Charlly Commlssloners and held al the Clerk's
office.
In selling the objeclives, reviewing the grant making wlicy and In planning fLrtur& activities th8 Governors havtr
given careful consideralion lo the duly in Seclion 1715) of the Charllies Act 2011 to hava duè regard lo thè Charity
Commissions general 9uidance on public benefit.

The Govemors Invite applications for financial assistance for further educallon gran15 and bursaries lo a8sisI with
the payment Df school lees. Grants were considered by the Grants and Scholarship$ Committee and awaids made
after consideration by the Governors of the recommendations of thal CommillèÈ. Appllc3tions for grants Irom
schools and other charitable educational organisaltons were considgred by the Finance and General Purpose5
Committeè and awards made by the Governors after consideration ol recomm¥ndalions of Ihal Commillee and in
resped of schools after consultation wilh School Governors.

con5idgr that the objectivgs of the Foundation have been a¢higved.
Achièvements and pèrformance
In accordance wllh Ihe obligations irnposed on it by the scheme in the perlod under review, all Ihe avallable income
has beèn expended for educational purposes and governance. Consequently il is fèll that the Foundallon has been
effe¢tlvè and fulfllled ils main purposes.

Apart from the power contained in Clause 15 of the Scherne of 12 February 1973 to create a reserve fund for the
purposes sel out in that Clause, the Governors have no power lo create reseryes and are required by la} tha
provisions of the before mentioned Scheme and of the Scheme of 23 December 1980 lin particular Clause 3 of tho
laller scheme} and Ibl the Charity Commissioners. lo expend Ihe whole of Ihe annual In￿me of the Foundation In
the year In whlch it arises.

The Govomr5 Investment pollcy Is lo malnlaln capSt81 growth and In¢omg and lo invest al low lo medium risk. The
investments are managed by an inveslmtrnl company.
Details of investment assets are shown in note 11 to Ihe accounts. Th8 value of investment assels of the
Foundation 8131 July 2025 8mounted to £6,835,1￿ whith compargs with 8 figure of £6,926,340 al 31 July 2024.

The Found21ion Is a charity regislered with the Charity Commissioners nLJmber 527523 and Is regulated by th8
provisions of a S¢hÈmÈ tsf the Commissionèrs daled thè 12 F8bru8ry 1973 88 amended by Schemes dated 23
December 1980, 8 May 2002, 27 November 2002.1 July 2015 and 5 July 2017.
The Governors ar8 responsible foi the administration of the Foundation (other than the Chapel Fund). There ar& fvjo
Committees namely. the Flnance and General Purposes Commillee and the Grants and Soholarships Commilleg

1.1 Aetountlng conventlon
The accounts have been prèparèd in accordance with Ihe Foundation's governing document, Ihg Charlllgs
Act 2011 and Accounllng #nd Rèporting by Charities,. Statement of Recommended Piaclice applicable to
charllies preparing their accounts in a￿ordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Rèpublic of Irèland {FRS 1021" la5 amended for a¢counllng perlods commencing from 1 January 20191.
The Fouhdalion Is 8 Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The Foundat¢on has taken advanlagB of the provlsions in the SORP for charitses applying FRS 102 Update
Bullelln 1 nol lo prepare a Stalemenl of Cash Flow$.
The accounts have departed from the Charitses (Aocounls and Reports) Regulations 2008 only lo the exlenl
required to provide a true and falr VIÈW. This dèparture has involved following the Slalemenl of Recommended
Practice lor oharilies applying FRS 102 rather than the verslon of Ihe Statement of Recommended Practice
which is referred 10 in the Regulations bul which has since been withdrawn.
The financi81 slalem¢nls are prepared in sleiling, which is the functional currency of Ihè Foundation. Mon6lary

Income is recognlsed when the Foundation Is legally gnlilled lo11 after any performance conditions have been

Financial instruments are recognised in the Foundation's balance sheet when the Foundation becomes party
lo Ihe contractual provlsions ol the insliument.
Financial assets and liabllities are offset. with the nel amounts presented in Ihe financtal stalemenl$, whén
there is a legally enforceable right lo sel off the recognised amoun18 and Ihpre Is an Intention lo settle on a nel

The Chapel Fund was sol up in ac¢ordance wllh paragraph 17 ofthe Scheme sealed 12 Fèbruary 1973.
The dèlègation of the adminlstration of The Chap&l Fund (paragraph 17(21 of thè Scheme) has been extended
by a resolution of the G¢)vernors.
The income from the above funds is designated and Is shown on pag& 5. The investments form part of the
Permanent Endowmant Funds of the Foundalion.
