Charity governance
The charity was registered on 11 September 1973 and is governed by a lease dated l June 1966. The
charity is an unincorporated association, with trustees being appointed or reappointed annually at
the Annual General Meeting.
Charity objertive
The objective of the Wolverley Playing Field Association is to manage the facility located at Mill Lane,
Wolverley, forthe purposes of playing fields, forthe use of the inhabitants of Wolverley and the
neighbourhood without any distinttion of sex or of political or religious or other opinions, and in
particular for use for such forms of physical recreation and leisure-time occupation as are or may
from time to time be approved underthe lease with the objectof improvingthe conditions of life for
said inhabitants.
Charity activities
The main activity of the charity is to lease the facility to local sporting clubs within Wolverley and the
neighbourhood so that the charity objective can be met. During the previous period, the newly
formed Wolverley FC has become a partnerthrough their use of the playing fields on a regular basis
and in furtherance of the Charity's objects.

Charity achievements during the period
Following the partneringwith Wolverley FC, it was decided that it made financial sense to extend the
financial period to 30June each subsequent year, to tie in with the football league season. The
period under review is therefore the 18-month period ended 30June 2025.
The regular use of the playing fields by Wolverley FC has enabled the charity to provide, maintain
and improve suitable infrastructure to those local to Wolverley to play football, in particular, and
allow us to expand to other sports as the demand arises.
During the period, the charity was successfully awarded two grants from the Football Foundation to
supportwith the continued investment in the infrastructure of the playing field. Donations received
to support the creation of Wolverley FC were received and applied during this period.
At the end of June 2025, the trustees are pleased to report that the charity is in a very strong
position to move forward and make further investment in the infrastructure.
