The Gilbeftyke Parish Council as the Sole TnJ$lee 1$ sab'sfi•d that lor the year ending 31 May 2025=
1. The Iransibon of the Chanty to Gilberdyke Parish Counc41 as Sole Trustee was completed in Deeember 2024,
pmmding long-lem se(yJrity and sustalnability for the hall. A new Management Commitiee has been formed under
the Parish Council. which has proved to bè an excellent SU￿ess.
A Charity Administrator was appointed through the Paiish Cojnol in Fetrfuary 2025 to oversets all OFwational
aspècts of the hall and ensure smcolh day-tr￿daY management. This mle has prowded much-needed continuty and
organisation, allwng the committee to lo￿$ llK*re strategicalty on developnwl and impmvement.
2. Refurbishment and maintenance a¢tiwties have ￿ntinUed throughout the year. The t￿.[•t5 have Trjw been tul
refrJrt)ished. and ongoing rnaintenan¢e oflhe annexe has been carried out.
Of Ihe planned I￿rkS from last year. onty Ihe CCTV in$tsllation and the rebJrtJi$hment of the toilets was
completed. h¢y4Yever, the Charity Administrator is r￿W aLtvely progres￿ng all remaining projeds for
complets.on during 2025r26.
New issues have been identrfed, indudlng the need for a ¢XJmplianl fire safety system. electrical testi
and upgr8des, and damp I￿atrnent Sn certsin areas ol the buildin9

3. The hall contsn￿s lo be well used by a wide raThJe of user groups, private booking$, and regular community
activities, induding hall events and bingo nFghls 11 also forms part of the school emergency plan, which thankfvlty
has rK)t yet been needed Overall usage and o)mmunity engagernent have remained consislenl last year, w]ih
the hall remaining busy on a daily basrs The hall hosted several $uc£essful ttjmmunity events. induding a VE Day
80 ¢elebrab"on and a large summer gala, which helped raise valuable fiJnd5 for ongoing hall improvements.
