the Annual Financtal Report for the Community Mana8ementAccount forthe year I022 to
2023. The unexpected passjng of ourCommandin8 Officer Chris Peake early on thlsyÈar
brou8ht many difficulties to the Unit. with thanging at¢ount holders, with incomplete
accounts and the inability getting into Chrls's system easify so it is with great thanks to Peter,
Steve and tharlie thatthis has now been mostly achleved.

Page 2 is the Communlty Management Account wtth an openln8 balance of £30,992.79. an
income of £26578.30. wendtture of £36.330.EA) anda cklslng balance of E21240A9. This
ac(x)unt covers all things appertainin8 to the buildin& repair5. utilities. heating etL and also
deals with 8rants for the purchase. repatrs and requirements of our boats.
Page 3 covers the Parents Committee and SupporL8 Account Wtth an openin8 balance of
£8￿32.(m). intorne of £4.2(EOO, èxpendlture of £725.93 and a dosing balance of
£11315.00. They also have a petty cash account tyrrently holdlng £100.￿. The main akn
of the Parents Commlttee Is fundraising and paying for all the runningexpense of the Unit
m+nibus.

account was administered bythe late CO Chri5 Peake, and because of his sudden passing
there was no handover. so l am extremely8lad of the help I received gettin8thi5 accou

l.-an't possibly S+￿rt my report without mentioning the massive loss to the unit in May
when sadly our Commailding Officer Chris Peake sadly passe& Chris did so much for the
nit and a wealth of knowledge was lostwith his passing. But l am so proud of all the
staffwho have really stepped up to the mark. so a big thankyou'must go out to them for
eeping the unit running successfully over this period and indeed all the year. A special
mention must go to Steve Hughes who took on the role of OIC at such a difficult time.
Thanks to Charlie Mustoe for all he has done over the last few months. and
Lokngratiilations Cnarlie in your new role as OIC we all wish you success in your new
.-ule. kn,d a bi8" Ihank y(>u to all the staff whether urkiformed or civilian for all the time
ar.a effortyou put into this unit throughout the year. without you none ofthis would be
ossible.
I believe the unit is in a good place now to going forward afterthe last few years of big
IlaIJefiges. We have had many successes at Distrlcr and Area Level again this year. and a
.8. yiell dorie to all wno iiave achieved variou5 promotions and qualifications during the
.2JL year. You all do our unit proud.
