Marian Mawr Trust ANNUAL REPORT 2020-2021 The main areas of work relating to the Marian Green during this period has Involved 2 elements. namelv: Consequences ofthe Covid -19 pandemic Planning and preparatory work relating to Renovatlons and Improvement works to the Marian Pavilion in the future l.Consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic For the vast majority of the year in question, the Marian Green has not been used for any organised events and artivities. This obviously resulted in some loss of booking income and a loss of organised sporting activities. However, this has been made up by being eligible for, and receiving government funded grants to alleviate this covid trisis. Due to these Government grants received during the year in question, the Trust's income for the year is higher than usual, and consequently, a copy of the Accounts and the results of an Independent Audit of the accour5t5 15 enc105ed with the Annual Submission to the Charity Commi10n. 2. Planning and preparatory work relating to Renovations and Internal improvement works Pavilion. Some initial thoughts and discussions with regular users of the Green and Pavilion commenced for some improvement works to the Pavilion Thi5 proces5 continues into the current year, when it is hoped that an agreed and prioritised list of works and improvemnts is finalised. Once this has been achieycd, the Trust will follow a public notice of Tender rocess, and employ the services of a professional architect for at least certain elements of le identified works. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 03 / 2021 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
