It is also used for concerts, plays, dances and presentation evenings.

Achievements and Performance

Following the regeneration of the club, the club has continued to maintain steady membership numbers. However, this said, we are still not where we would aspire to be and will continue to target new members through a variety of inititiatives. Obviously the last 18 months have been very hard for us all and we were worried Covid-19 pandemic would affect us. However, our membership has returned since re-opening, confirming to us We continue to look at our programme of activities and our staffing levels and are constantly trying to recruit som younger staff/Officers to our ranks so that the experience and knowledge that is within the club can be passed down to the next generation. This would enable the club to progress and allow the new officers to for and add to the rich history of the club. To this end and from the success of the clubs 70th anniversary book, funding has been utilised from the Heritage Fund to allow us to convert the old computer room into a Memorabilia room and having acquired funding for new computers, create a new computer room which contains 10 computers, 2 laptops, 2 internet tablets and a printer.

Financial Review

The clubs funds are looking healthy at present but still need to be closely monitored. Covid-19 has meant that we haven't raised income through membership and spending within the club but grants made available to us during this time have meant that we have emerged looking reasonably healthy financial position. However, plans are currently being made to reduce the club's carbon footprint which will inevitably cost money and mean that grant money received will be well utilised.

Plans for the Future Periods

We are continually looking at our programme of activities and our staffing levels and actively trying to recruit som younger staff/Officers to our ranks. We have achieved limited succes with this aim but we will continue to persev We are looking to reduce the club's carbon footprint using several methods, making better use of recycling oppo creating a plant/vegatable growing area and possibly installing solar panels to create electricity; these are just a few of the suggestions.amongst other suggestions.
