## **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** 

The Memorial Hall and Welfare Association was established in the 1920’s for the benefit of local inhabitants of Aberkenfig and surrounding district. 

The Aberkenfig Welfare Hall and surroundings are in constant use for amateur sport and recreational activities provided by a variety of local clubs (for both young and old) and include, but not confined to: 

Bowling Club History Society Art Society Dance and Ballet Clubs Karate Club **Summary of the main** Judo Club **activities undertaken for** Wellbeing Groups **the public benefit in** Tai Chi **relation to these objects** Children’s Parties **(include within this** Bonsai Club **section the statutory** Slimming World **declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

Trustees of the Welfare Association are supported by an elected Management Committee.
