## Activities

**Objects:** The charitable purpose of the Unit (the Purpose) is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

**Activities:** We help young people to gain experience and qualifications to help and guide them into responsible adulthood. The activities are mainly, sailing, canoeing, boating, engineering etc all under the supervision of well qualified volunteer instructors. Operations well established locally and have a long history. The unit supports community functions in addition to fund raising to maintain the unit.
