The charity is constituted by a lease and tW5t deed datod 4 July 1961 and an amended scheme (Sated 14
October 2003 and registered wrth the Charity Commission under number S23982. Its object$ are to provide a
elfare institute with facilities lor physical ￿CreatIon and oth&r leisure time activth.èsto imwove the INing
con¢Yitions of the inhabitants of the wllage of Tfeeton and surrounding ar&as
rhe trustees have referred lo the guidance gNen by th& Charity Commission on public be￿fil when reviewing
the charty's aims and objectives and details ol thè activities that h8ve18ken place during the year can be
found later in this r&FX)rt.
Organlsatlonal Structurè
The trustees who have served the charity during the year are shown on page 1.
The charity is responsiblè for maintaining the premises its contents 8nd grounds In a suitable stale ol
repair for use by thos6 live in tme surrounding area. It raisès some funds through various charitable
acts'vits'es but a sub3tants.al amount of 11$ income comes frorn its trading company. Treelon MWI S¢home SoGal
Club Ltd. which pays an annual occupational lic¢nce fee to the charity in order to run its bJsintr55 from the
charity'5 premises. In addibon lo this. the cornpany ￿s0 translers any profits it make5 to the charity under
Gift Aid agreèment, so the trustees w)rk closdy wth the directors lo try to ensvre the company is profitable.

Financlal Revlew
The charsty had net outgoing resources of £17,952 lor Ihe year as comparod ￿th nel incoming iesources of
£20,241 in the previous year. This is due to the large increase in utility costs wth light and heat doubling and
decrease in the gift aid Iransler from the S¢Yial Club.
The connected trading cornpany has mado a ¢onlribulion of £29.59612022 '. £62,153)

The trustees are pleajed and proud lo support the local communty. This is achievt)d by providing a free
annual Christmas Party for the retired rnernbers which includes a free Christmas ￿'n￿r. drinks, rafflo prvies
and enlertainrnent.
Our facilities are use by various groups to hokj acbvilies such as danong dasses. keep fil, slimming classes
and autornobile group$.
The facilit'es ar& also used by members lo raise money for various charities induding Ma¢rnillan Nurses,
Dementia chanlies and Rotherham Hospice.
The schemo possesses a b0￿ing green available fw members and the locd eomrnunity.

Investment Policy
The charty does not have #n investment polio as such bul the Iruslees have taken the sénsible option and
placed the bulk of the charills liquid assets in an Interest bearing b8nk aco)unt. This produces a small
amount ol Income for the charity while at the sarne tirne meaning that the monay is instantly accessible to
meet thè ¢harity's exp8n5es.
Reserves Policy
It 1$ Ihe policy ol the trustees lo maintain Unres￿Cle4 funds vknich a￿ the free reserves ol the charity. al a level
lo provide suffiaent funds lo cover ants"cipale¢J administratr.on and sUPPOrt costs for a per￿d of 12 months. Any
additional reseryes are held to provkle a ¢apital fund for repairs that will be required for Ihe upkeep ol the
premises.
Risk Managem•nt
The trustees are aware of the operational and finarcial risks vthich the charity face5 and regularfy reviews those
risks to mitigate against any impact they may have on the charity. The major risks laang the charity a￿ the
conthntjed success of the Sooal Club from which it dérives its main funding, the support of individuals arid the
¢ornmunity in using the facilities and the introdu¢lion of the younger generation lo provide for tho future. The
trustee$ work dosely with directors arbd members to address these risks.
