We currently have one School Governor on the Committee, and a representative from a local business together with a representative member allied to the cricket club. 

We work closely with the Parish Council on matters pertaining to the village and in particular the recreation field. 

The Committee fully support the local Primary School, they have free access to the recreation field for sporting activities and also have free use of the centre for any school activities, ie parties and concerts and any other ad hoc activities they might require.

The community centre and recreation field are an important focal point for the village and are extremely well maintained.  All the work for the community centre is carried out by volunteers with no paid employees apart from regular cleaning work. **Summary of the main** 2021 – 2022 has been a better year for the Community Centre activities **achievements of the charity** have got back to normal. **during the year** 

The proposed car par extension works are now complete. 

The Events Committee managed to promote a Jubilee Celebration in June raising much needed funds for the centre and a local charity. 

Improvement works were also carried out to the kitchen/bar with new units and worktops.

The charity’s policy is to maintain a minimum working capital of £20,000 for the purposes of maintaining the building and recreation field, the children’s playground fences and boundary walls and trees.  The present balance is approximately £33,000

We currently have one School Governor on the Committee, and a representative from a local business together with a representative member allied to the cricket club. 

We work closely with the Parish Council on matters pertaining to the village and in particular the recreation field. 

The Committee fully support the local Primary School, they have free access to the recreation field for sporting activities and also have free use of the centre for any school activities, ie parties and concerts and any other ad hoc activities they might require.

The community centre and recreation field are an important focal point for the village and are extremely well maintained.  All the work for the community centre is carried out by volunteers with no paid employees apart from regular cleaning work. Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main** 2021 – 2022 has been a better year for the Community Centre activities **achievements of the charity** have got back to normal. **during the year** 

The proposed car par extension works are now complete. 

The Events Committee managed to promote a Jubilee Celebration in June raising much needed funds for the centre and a local charity. 

Improvement works were also carried out to the kitchen/bar with new units and worktops.

The charity’s policy is to maintain a minimum working capital of £20,000 for the purposes of maintaining the building and recreation field, the children’s playground fences and boundary walls and trees.  The present balance is approximately £33,000
