## **Trustees:**

**Simon Bullough (Chairman) (Haverdale House, Skates Lane, Sutton on the Forest, York YO61 1HB) Helen Barnes (Vice Chairman) (Lyncroft, Back Lane, Tollerton YO61 1PZ)**

**Jackie Bullough (Secretary) (Haverdale House, Skates Lane, Sutton on the Forest, York YO61 1HB) Sara White (Treasurer) Glebe Cottage, Main Street, Huby York YO61 1HS**

## **Structure:**

Huby Playing Fields Association is run by a core group of Trustees each with a role to form the main structure of the committee; all Trustees were voted by committee members. The committee comprises of local volunteers who attend regular meetings. Huby Playing Fields Association holds it Annual General Meeting whereby all key roles and trustees are voted for and agreed by all committee members.

## **Annual Objectives:**

For some time now, the trustee’s main objective has been the demolition of the existing facilities which are unsafe and no longer fit for purpose. In addition, our greater aim is to raise sufficient funds to rebuild the facilities providing the village with a facility suitable for the future and the needs of the village. This financial reporting year has been focused on raising funds on a larger scale through the support of local businesses and grant schemes currently available with a view to begin the demolition process in early 2022. The goal for 2022 is to complete the demolition of the existing building and to firm up our design specifications for the facilities, as well as to continue with grant applications.

## **Financial Review:**

2022’s greatest financial success was securing £105,501.00 in funds from Richard Todd of Todd and Son Ltd) which is currently ring fenced for the new build. We have received support from local businesses to cover planning permission costs and have continued to receive contributions from other user groups to cover the running costs, ie insurance, utilities, ground maintenance etc. Monetary donations were received from the cricket club as well as donations of equipment to sell to raise funds. As we move forward in 2022, we need to remain mindful that Huby Playing Fields Association’s source of income is very limited, and we will be relying upon donations and limited fund raising opportunities to cover the cost of the day to day running.
