The landslip has the potential to be very expensive and there has been extensive work on the playground to make sure it is up to RoPSA standards – some of this work will be seen in the current year. Gift Aid – up to now it does not seem as though we have ever claimed gift aid. I have applied to get this underway, but it takes several weeks for approval. I would like it to be minuted that the named people for HMRC are myself – Sue Whelan, Maria Kitching and Karen Tamblin – it is important to have this minuted as changes to personnel can only be made by the named people and HMRC will not tell you who they are for data protection! As soon as this is through, I will put in a claim for as much as possible going back as far as is allowed. VAT – I am seeking the advice of our accountant to see about VAT exemption for any works we have done.
