Walton and Baswich Community Association Wlldwood Community Centre, Wildwood, Stsfford Annual Report 202012021 The COVID crisis has disrupted our face-to-face meeting plans throughout 2020 and 2021. We were unable to hold our November AGM in the nomial way and exchanged by email the financial figures for the year and afier rtsk a8sessmcnts noted the activities to follow government guidelines where the centre could be used. The impact on income was notcd togctlier with the local grants which offset our income loss. There were additional costs because of the pandemic and iA maintaining the building. The annual return to the Charity Commissioners was submitted and all application lodged with Statt"ord Borough Council for support from the 106 monies for cladding the building and painting. (The 106 money is supplied by the housing7 developers to ensure facilities locally keep up with the incrcasc in popul¢ition through the new hou8ing developments such as Biiswich Grange). It looks like we will be unsuccessfijl since SBC seemed to havc limited the use of the money to developiiig outside play arcas. We will continue with the Lludding and painting at the level our resources allow. 'I'he orgdni/ations who use the Centrc arc gradually returning lo their nonnal prograins although there has bcen frcsh Covid outbrcaks amongyst some of our users who have reacted by taking moro piccautions such as mask wearing and spacing.
