Norton-in-the-Moors Miners Welfare provides facilities and open space for community groups from a wide catchment area within Stoke on Trent. Based in Smallthorne and working in co-operation with local stakeholders such as the City Council, the Charity provides extensive support for people of all ages with particular emphasis on the young and the elderly.
Objects: Provision Of A Recreation Ground And Institute For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants (And In Particular But Not Exclusively Such Of The Said Inhabitants As Are Members Of The Mining Community) Of The Area Of Benefit Without Distinction Of Political Religious Or Other Opinions With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants (For Further Objects See Gd)
