Report regarding 2025/26 annual accounts 

Overall, the accounts show an in-year deficit of £2,551.  This is due principally to a loss of investments. 

Activity has been steady, although it is increasingly difficult to engage with the local community.  New activities particularly Rock and Roll bingo have proved a success and indoor bowing is proving a little more popular. 

Following our discussions in the summer regarding the underperformance of our investments, we agreed to give the new fund managers time to turn things around. Now having suffered losses in both this and the previous financial year, some we are sure due to the war in Iran it is felt that the investment in transferred to a more secure account where the return of our money is guaranteed as now the return of our funds is more important than the return on them.
