The trustee has pleasure in presenting the report and the unaudited Annual report
and accounts of the trust for the year ended 31st March 2025
TRUSTEE
The name of the Trust is "The Trustees Lowdham Village Hall and Playing Fields
Committee"
The Trust's governing document is dated 15th April 1946
The power to appoint further Trustees is vested in the Trust
The Charity is administered by a management committee who are the trustees of the
Charity, Lowdham Parish Council being the Holding Trustee for the land and
buildings. Various organisations based in Lowdham Village, as stipulated in the
governing document, each have a right to appoint one member to the management
committee.
INTRODUCTION
The trustee has adopted the provision of the Statement of Recommended Practice
{SORP) ' Accounting and Reporting by Charities ' issued in October 2000 in
preparing the annual report and financial ststements of the charity.
OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Trust is to administer the Village Hall and Playing Fields as
efficiently as possible for the benefit of the residents of Lowdham and its immediate
vicinity . In furtheran￿ of these objectives the Trust shall
Elect a committee annually
Elect a management team from the committee at the AGM
The management committee shall be provided with minutes of meetings and monthly
accounts.
Ensure the hall, pavilion and playing fields are cleaned and kept in good order.
Contract cleaners are engaged in the cleaning duties.

GOVERNANCE
The rules for the running of the charity are laid down in the goveming docurnent. This document states that "the
general management and control of Ihe Trusl premises and arrangements for their use shall be vested in a
Committee of Management.
INCOME GENERATION
Income for the use of the charity is mainly generated through the letting of the Village Hall and Playing Fields.
Any expenditure incurrod by the L¢)wdham Village Hall Committee and others during the year to enhance the
facilities of the Trust are treated as a donation within the Trust income
INVESTMENT POLICY
The Governing documents states that 'all paymènts in r8SPeCt of th6 use of th8 Trust Premises and all donations
for the benefit shall be paid into the Trust Account.
All moneys standing to the Credit of the said account shall be applied as the Committee shall decide in" meeting
the running costs of the premises.
RESERVES POLICY
The Trustee has established a policy whereby the unr8Strlded funds not committed should be invested in interest
bearing bank accounts until required by the charity.
The Trustee ensures that enough funds are held in resenfe to be able to continue the present level of activity for
8 period of one year, in the event of other sources Ceasing and to be able to pay all liabilities arising in the event
of the charity ceasing to 6XlSt.
RISK REVIEW
The management committee has conducted its own review of the major risks to which the charity is exposed 8nd
systems have been established to mitigate those risks. The situation is constantly being monitored by the
Trustees.
FUTURE STRATEGY
The charity plans continuing the activities as outlined above in the forthcoming years subject to satisfactory
funding arrangements.
