The financial year 4.20-3.21 was a difficult one for the unit as for everyone else due to Covid.

We did not insist that parents continue to pay subs during lockdown but gratefully received any that were paid.

All events on the Brayford were cancelled and this meant a huge drop in our income.

Thanks to the City of Lincoln council we received grants of nearly £20000 under the Hospitality and Leisure closure grant scheme and these have kept us afloat.

We purchased a second minibus and received a 50% grant from MSSC towards this.

Any monies paid to the MSSC for courses were eventually refunded to the unit and the monies were then returned to parents with one or two exceptions who insisted we keep the refunds as donations.

We also received £2600 in Gift Aid for the tax year of 2019-2020.
