The Trustees Annual Report for the **Barnetby Recreational Field Charity registration No 521892 year end 31[st] March 2023,** prepared by R Reddin Trustee Clerk. ## **Achievements for this year:** The Trustee held a Carnival Event for the parishioners of Barnetby le Wold on 04 June 2022. The event was very well attended all activities and stalls were completely free. The Barnetby Silver Band held a concert at the event which received positive feedback. The Recreational Field Trustees have not undertaken any major works during the financial year. The site has been well maintained and regular inspections and repairs have been carried out as appropriate. ## **Challenges for this year:** The site is well attended by many people and there are still occasional incidents of vandalism and damage to neighbouring properties. The Trustees continue to find resolutions to resolve the issues. ## **Challenges expected for the coming year:** Site Security Improvements need to be addressed and additional funding may need to be sought to reduce the impact of vandalism and Anti-Social Behaviour once again. New CCTV will be required to improve the trustee’s ability to report crimes and nuisance behaviours. ## **Plans for future years:** The Trustee have invested in Playground Inspection training and have an RPII Operational Inspection trained individual to ensure continuous safety and maintenance of the equipment on site. The Trustee have also ensured that the annual ROSPA Inspection programme has been maintained and actions addressed. The Trustees aim to work in close partnership with other charities that use the site to address parking and drainage issues on the site. The In Bloom initiative will be commencing a tree planting scheme in the Recreational Field Area as well and continue to maintain community planting boxes on the site. **----- Start of picture text -----**
