## **INTRODUCTION**

A Ropsley Festival was not held in 2025; therefore none of the skewing of the financial figures that resulted from that event in 2024 has occurred in 2025.

Revenues were approximately£1,150 higherthan budgeted. Although income from hall hire and grants were less than forecast, this was more than offset by increases from field hire, fund raising activities and a very generous bequest.

In comparison, expenditure was approximately £2,300 less than budgeted. General maintenance exceeded budget, but small equipment purchases and caretaker wages were noticeably lower. Also, bills totalling over £1,250 for electricity and water used in 2025 were not received before 31 December so were not included in 2025 accounts.

Overall 2025 was a very successful year financially.

## **CAPITAL ITEMS**

During 2025 the following were significant items of expenditure:

Storage trolleys £684 (for children’s play equipment (x2) and the stage)

## **PREMIUM ACCOUNT**

Interest payable on the Premium (savings) Account is poor. A suitable alterative has not yet been found but resolving this issue is a priority for H1 2026.
