TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT 2025
OUR AIMS
The District Scout Council aims to provide stimulatin& interesting and enjoyable activities for young
people aged between 4 years and 25 years to develop their leadershlp abllitles and social skills.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To ensure that the District and all Scout Groups in the District
Comply with the latest edition of POR including. but not limited to
Organisation
Charity obligations
Governance
Financial control
Group constitutions
Fundraising
Safeguarding and emergency procedures
Insurance
CONSTITUTION
The Distrirt Scout Council approved the adoption of the Scout District as per Rule 5.4 in P.O.R last year
and continues to adopt changes in line with any updates to P.0.
TRANSITION PROGRAMME
The District Scout Council has implemented all the changes necessary to adhere to the
Scout Associations Transition Programme.

OUR FUTURE PLANS
To continue to improve the accessibility of Scouting in Oldham.
To continue to Improve the facilities at our Dog Hill campsite, so that young people, be scouts or
otherwise, can enjoy the freedom of the fresh air in a safe enwronmenL
