We also have activity and well<br>-being groups e.g. Northern Slimmers,<br>Amani Choir. We have been in existence since 1886.<br>In the year to 31.8.22  COVID<br>restrictions had badly affected our<br>Summary of the main  operations for 18 months especially<br>achievements of the  with some of our senior volunteers. MCC was especially<br>supportive and hired all our facilities<br>for an Africa Day event to link local<br>support organisations to develop<br>outreach and integration. It was a<br>great success and triggered other<br>bookings from highly regarded<br>organisations. A changing population of<br>local residents and businesses is<br>responding to community support<br>available. Our upgraded<br>telephone/broadband package and<br>stage systems added to user<br>satisfaction.<br>We have developed closer relationships<br>with the GP surgery in the building and<br>helped other  community organisations<br>to support each other. Our efforts are<br>seeing more positive feedback and<br>bookings.<br>The £2k grant is to replace broken<br>pianos and fund a new advertising<br>campaign<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 It is a healthy position and better than<br>financial position at the  pre COVID figures. Total income trebled<br>end of the period to £12843 because of increased<br>outside lets after 18 months closure.<br>The MCC £2K grant and GP surgery<br>£11314 refund for 2 years utility fees.<br>We exceed the £25K annual income<br>and triggered this TAR. We do not<br>expect that to recur.
