- 5 Energy costs were on fixed rate plans with E-ON Next. Gas was on a 3 year plan ending August 2024. Electricity was on a 2 year plan which ended in July 2023. (Also see note 3.)

7 Governance expenses were for insurance payments. There were no legal or bank fees in 2023.

8 The largest repairs and maintenace expense was for fences.

- 9 From 2022 accounts, "A further £1,992 payment was made in error and paid back from the church account on 30th December but was not received into the centre account until January 2023." Also from 2022 accounts, "Three payments from the St Margaret's Church account paid at the end of December were not received into the centre account until January 2023. Old Trafford Community Church payments were made from St Margaret's Church in September but never received: this is due to be paid by NatWest in 2023. There is also an outstanding invoice not yet received from the Scouts: payment was possibly attempted during the period when the centre bank account was frozen." NATWEST recovered £180 (possibly from BT) out of £350 of the Old Trafford Community Church payments. None of the other payments were received in 2023.

- 10 Two invoices from Chubb were paid on behalf of the Centre by St Margaret's Church PCC. These are due to be paid back to the PCC. However, the contract relates to a burglar alarm which was inoperative and supposedly cancelled in 2022. A claim may be made against Chubb to recover the money, including additional final demand compensation and interest payments requested by Chubb and paid by the PCC.
