To provide recreational facilities for the inhabitants of and visitors to the village of Hawkshead.These currently include a childrens play area with equipment suitable for children in the age range 3 to 12 years old. A full size football pitch with changing facilities. A crown green bowling facility. Two tennis courts. A general play area equipped with picnic benches and tables.
Objects: In The Interests Of Social Welfare, To Improve The Conditions Of Life For The Inhabitants Of Hawkshead Without Distinction Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By The Provision And Maintenance Of A Recreation Ground.
