The Trustees continue to monitor the efficiency of the administration of the property and finances.

Objectives and Activities
Ledbury Community Association aims to promote the wellbeing of the residents of the Ledbury community by associating the local authority, voluntary organisations, advance education provide facilities for physical and mental training, recreation, social, moral and intellectual development and to foster a community spirit.
Regular Users
The local community and regular users are the main supporters of the Hall, however since the COVID 19 pandemic all weekly and twice weekly clubs have been suspended to accommodate the NHS vaccination drive for Ledbury and the surrounding areas
The Community Hall is a Designated Emergency Evacuation Centre which includes:

General emergency affecting residents (flooding etc.....)

Localised emergency (train crash, coach crash, fire etc....)

Evacuation point for local community hospital (regular staff training and scenarios do take place)

- Designated evacuation point for all local sheltered housing complexes
Declaration
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission relating to public benefit. In particular, hall events are open to all, the hire of the hall is priced appropriately; regular users are charged rates lower than one-off events.
Assets of the Charity
The association owns the community hall and all of the equipment (furniture, crockery etc) therein.
Fabric of the Hall
The association takes pride in maintaining the hall to a very high standard. During 2019/20 the fire exit ramp and pathway has been widened and new fire exit main entrance door fitted in accordance to health and safety regulations, the hall floor is regularly and professional maintained. During 2020/21 tables will be renewed along with thermal curtains, sound system, and a total redecoration of the Hall. General ongoing maintenance of the building will be carried out as and when required.
Health and Safety
A fire safety review is carried out annually with ongoing health and safety checks.
Reserves Policy
The Charity has over £40,000 in the current bank accounts as unrestricted reserves at the year end. These balances are available for unforeseen expenditure in relation to building maintenance or equipment and fixtures replacements. It is the Trustee’s policy to maintain sufficient unrestricted reserves.
