Invostment Pollcy
The trustees have pla¢ed Sufplus liquid assets into interest bearing fixed term bond accounts. This means that
the fvnds are available if required but are generats'ng income for the charity in the form of interest.
Reser¥es Poll¢y
It is the polw of the trustees to maintain unreslrlcted funds which are the free reserves of the charity, al a level
to provide suffiryent funds to ￿Ver anticipated administration and support costs for a period of 12 months. Any
additional reserv05 are held to provide a capitsl fund from repairs that will be required for the upkeep of the
p￿rnises.
Risk Managernent
The trustees are aware of the operational and financial rrsks which the charity faces and regulady reviews
those risks to mitigate against any impact they may have on the charity. The major risks facing the charity
are the continued su￿SS of the social club from which it derives its main funding, the support of individuals
and the community in using the facilities and the introduction of the younger generation lo provide for the
futu￿. The trustees wotk closely with the directOTS. committee and members to address these risks. The
tnjstees are carefulty managing the charitys finances and are satisfied that il will be able to Continue to meet
its obligations for the foreseeable fubjre.

Law applicable to charitses in England and Wales required the trustees to prepare financial slalemenls for ea¢h
financial year which give a true and fair view of the Charity and of incoming resources and application of
resources of the charity for that period. In preparing those ffnancial ststemenls, the trustees are required to=
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently-
- observe the methtrjs and principles in the Charitses SORP.,
- make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.,
- state whether appli¢able ac£ounling standards have been followed subject to any material departures
disdosed and expL8ined in the financial slalemenls.,
prepare the financial slalemenls on the going concem basis unless rt is inappropriate to presume that
the chanty will conts'nue In operation.
The trustees are responsible for keeping a¢4))untin9 records which disclose with ￿8$Onable accuracy al any
time the financial wsition of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial slalements compty with
the Charlties Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for
taklng reasonable steps tor the prevention and delection of fiaud and other ifregularikn'es.
