**Activities:** Easington Social Welfare Centre is the main community facility in the former mining settlement of Easington Colliery.  As a registered Charity this building is run and managed to meets the needs of local people who have suffered much hardship since the closure of the mines in the 1990&#x27;s.  The centre provides a much needed resource for its community to use.
