## Activities

**Objects:** The charitable purpose of the Unit (the Purpose) is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

**Activities:** Training Ship Danae is are a uniformed youth organisation and a unit in the Sea Cadet Corps.  We meet on two evenings a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.45 to 9.15 pm.  Both girls and boys join the unit and we cater for ages 10 - 18 years.  There is opportunity for young  people to learn new skills and be part of a safe, disciplined learning environment based on Royal Navy traditions.
