Bothel Village Hall Trustees Annual Reporty.e. 31/10121 Registered charity number: 520291 Bothelvillage hall committee has the responsibilty of maintaining the fabric and structure of the village hall and promoting it as a centre of community life. This financial yearhad the continued problems of Covid restrictions which had to be followed at all times for any activities in the hall. Consequently hire of the hall was significantly reduced but our income was helped considerablyfrom Local Authoritygrants. As soon as it was considered safe to do so we have promoted and encouraged activitiesto restart and we have a good range of weeklyevents. One of ourmain achievements has been toestablish acommunity library in ourentrance porch. We have been able to leave it unlocked at all timesfor accessto books and jigsaws. It was greatly appreciated during covid restrictions and is a real assetto the village. We continue to have good community SUPPOrtwith an increasing numberof volunteersfor cleaning and tendingthe gardens. Ourcommittee has welcomed several newyoungermembers.
