I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust.) for the year ended 2910212024.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are resF)onsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 ('the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|We have continued to build on the success<br>of the group following completion of our<br>new Hall in 2022.<br>Scouting activities in terms of section<br>meetings continued, combining a mixture of<br>games and activities towards scouting<br>awards as described on the scouting<br>website scouts.org.uk.  For the younger<br>section these included craft work,<br>communication skills, internet safety, team<br>work and road safety.<br>Outdoor boating activities also continued<br>and members were able to sail and kayak<br>throughout the summer months.<br>Fund-raising activities carried on, including<br>two Quiz Nights held in the Hall – the first<br>for three years since the COVID-enforced<br>hiatus – and another successful Burns<br>Night supper, which was held in the local<br>Community Centre . In addition we staged|





two events sponsored by Cheshire Rural Touring Arts, which is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation and presents a diverse mix of professional theatre, music, dance, and family shows to bring novel social experiences to Weaverham. All this is representative of a thriving asset to the local community.
