|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**Since the Covid lockdown has been**<br>**lifted, Scouting, at 1st Cheadle Hulme**<br>**Scout Group has resumed providing the**<br>**opportunity for young people between**<br>**the ages of 6 to 18 to participate in**<br>**exciting and practical activities within**<br>**the framework of the Scout Association.**<br>**The Group is entirely self-financing**<br>**through membership subscriptions and**<br>**fund-raising activities. Leaders and**<br>**helpers give up their free time for the**<br>**joy of seeing small children grow into**<br>**young adults who are able to contribute**<br>**to society. The Group itself is over 100**<br>**years old. It currently has a youth**<br>**membership of around 72, with a**<br>**number on a waiting list to join.**<br>**The Group continues to offer a large**<br>**number of Scouts the opportunity to**<br>**work towards their Chief Scout Awards.**<br>**There will also be a number working**<br>**towards their DofE Bronze, Silver and**<br>**Gold Awards. These will lead to**<br>**Platinum and Diamond Awards being**<br>**achieved.**|

charity ("the Trust") for the year ended. I I C:

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
